She advocates for tech development in my community and also empowers people with the latest IT skills. She led her AI team in a 4-week challenge with great enthusiasm to develop a model that can be implemented in delivering sustainable energy in Nigeria.
💥 Albert Yumol: Philippines Chapter Lead is a tech activist promoting data-driven and evidence-based solutions to various organizations and communities. He has 8++ years of experience with data science both in academic research and industry applications. He is an advocate for using technology (mostly open-source) to promote social development and nationalism and also teaches data science and its applications focusing on human-centered design and data ethics. He with the members of his chapter achieved great results in using Philippines satellite data in conjunction with other relevant datasets to identify sites that are most suitable for solar panel installation.
💥 Mohamed Amr: Egypt Chapter Lead is a machine learning engineer and an AI product manager. Early 2020, Mohamed joined Omdena's community to impact and to do AI for good.
