Introduction
At Omdena, we believe in the power of technology and citizen-driven initiatives to bring about positive change in society. In this one, we are collaborating with The Asia Foundation to address the challenge of identifying key sources of information in the Mongolian digital landscape.
Our projects will focus on collecting vast amounts of text data from Mongolian social media platforms, developing specialized AI tools tailored to this environment, designing a multi-modal classification system, and harnessing insights from text, user attributes, and network propagation. Our ultimate goal is to ensure the Mongolian online community has access to reliable and accurate content.
No matter your level of experience, Omdena offers growth opportunities and will provide the participants from Mongolia free access to Foundational Courses for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI). More information will be provided on the course for the selected participants!

Leveraging Natural Language Processing for Mongolia Landscape
Developing a comprehensive, integrated system specifically designed for the Mongolian digital environment, this project aims to aggregate social media interactions in near real-time, and significantly enrich the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This will be achieved by incorporating a diverse range of data from various Mongolian digital platforms and by fine-tuning multiple models to better understand and process the Mongolian language.
