Analyzing Tuberculosis Cases in Kaduna State from 2021 to 2023 using Data Science

This Omdena Local Chapter Challenge runs for 8 weeks and is a unique experience to try and grow your skills in a collaborative and safe environment with a diverse mix of people from all over the world.

You will work on solving a local problem, initiated by Kaduna, Nigeria Chapter

The problem

This project aims to develop a tool for analyzing data collected and compiled in the state by automating the process using data science by developing a notebook and or dashboard o Streamlit to present Data insights and visualizations on the data.

The goals

We seek to solve the issue of irregularities of data collected from the community by cleaning, pre-processing and exploring available data on tuberculosis in Kaduna State from 2021 to this past quarter of 2023 We also seek to build a tool to be adopted by health service providers in making informed and insightful decisions regarding tuberculosis in Kaduna State. We also seek to build and foster good relationship with the State agency for monitoring Tuberculosis. Also, Lastly we seek to develop a tool, a notebook or dashboard on Streamlit for Analysis of data collected each quarter and presenting these data in comprehensively making logical and factual deductions and visualizations
