Developing a Natural Language Toolkit for the Nepali Language

This Omdena Local Chapter Challenge runs for 4 weeks and is a unique experience to try and grow your skills in a collaborative and safe environment with a diverse mix of people from all over the world. 

You will work on solving a local problem, initiated by Nepal Chapter, Pokhara, Nepal.

 

The problem

There are a number of Nepali natural language toolkits available, but no standard single toolkit provides all the necessary functionalities for natural language processing (NLP)

 

The goals

The goal of the project is to: 

• Develop a natural language toolkit for the Nepali language that provides the necessary functionalities for natural language processing.
